Mission & Vision

Founded in 1961, River Christian Church (formerly Stevenson First Baptist Church) has sought to minister to families in the Mid-Columbia communities of Stevenson, Carson, North Bonneville and Cascade Locks.
Our mission has been to have a ministry that proclaims the gospel of Christ in such a way that families are transformed and experiencing the reality of Christ in all aspects of life. We especially seek to minister to families with children through our Sunday School, Awana and youth programs.

Our vision is to build a dynamic and thriving community of believers who obey God and serve others through  the use of their gifts, talents and abilities. 

Growing Deep

 Growing deep in our relationship with God through a personal relationship with Christ that is nourished by daily communion with him through the study of his word and prayer.  

Growing up in the expression of godly character and maturity through obedience to him, mutual love for one another, authentic worship and life-changing transformation.

Growing out in our service to others as each person uses their spiritual gifts to serve the body of Christ, the community and the world.
